Wedding Reception

The music was exactly what I wanted for our wedding day. He fulfilled anything we requested. Loved working with Michael and would definitely recommend using Tri-State to do your event. Plus it was budget-friendly!

Wedding Reception

Professional and do a great job. Kids constantly requesting songs and they had no problem dealing with it. They got the kids dancing as well as the adults. A lot more affordable than most. I would definitely hire them again.

Hotel Event

Michael was great! He arrived on time with an associate and was set up quickly. The Karaoke/Dance party was the closing event for Teach For America. The crowd was excited about karaoke and started to get irritated when the DJ had to switch to dance music between sign-ups. Michael stayed cool and collected and played a couple of songs (Cupid Shuffle, etc.) that got everyone up and moving until the next karaoke sign-up occured. We received many compliments on his services from attendees and they are already trying to figure out how to ship him to wherever the next conference will be held. Thank you!!!

Wedding Reception

Tri-State Disc Jockey & Karaoke Service provided music for our wedding reception. Michael Elliott did an awesome job despite the oppressive heatwave that we on June 11. He is a true professional and would recommend him highly to all my friends and family and then some!

Birthday Party

I would like to direct this review to anyone who may have reservations about hiring Michael sight unseen through the Internet. He not only did a fantastic job at my event , he handled what could have been a logistics nightmare perfectly with no hitches or problems. The quote was originally requested by a relative in CA, for an event taking place in Dayton, OH and hired by me from VA. There were no missed communications and he arrived and set up and was ready to go on time. He pleased a crowd of all ages. The music selection for karaoke was outstanding he was able to handle all our requests. There were no hidden fees or technical difficulties. His services were my present to my karaoke crazy father for his 90th birthday, my friends and relatives said I could not have come up with a better gift.
If you are reading this review and are considering hiring Michael, I feel very confident in recommending him.

"Michael and Dean provided a wonderful service for my event. They DJ'd a formal law school danner and dance. They arrived on time. Their cost was extremely comparable/better than other DJ's of their quality. I asked for increased lighting and they were able to accommodate with a small increase in fee. In the end, I would highly recommend this DJ service to anyone. When we hold our event next year, I will encourage the organizer to use Tri-State again. Repeat costumers should show to others just how pleased I was with their service. "

Glad to respond to your request as a reference for the music/entertainment service you've provided me in the past.

I can say without question, if I ever again have a need for this kind of service, I would go to Michael and Miguel.

They provided entertainment for our church in church-wide gatherings; for my daughter's graduation party; for weddings and other events. They've been involved with working among various age groups with diverse musical tastes. In every case, Michael and Miguel were professional and did what they did with great attention to detail. Their equipment provided top-quality sound and their musical selections were broad enough to satisfy young children, teenagers, young adults and senior citizens... an extremely difficult task!

Also, I quickly add, the team really seems to enjoy people, all people, and interacted with them in an extremely positive way. They are men of character. They are dependable and attend to details. They are fair and honest in all their dealings.

These two are just GOOD at what they do! I can give them the highest recommendation!
